How Much Is That Cupcake in the Window? collage/acrylic, 18 x 36
Elizabeth W. Seaver
Ahhhh, that sweet smell of freshly baked pastry. It wafts through the breeze, tickling my nose and pulling me in the direction of scrumptious goodies. In the manner of the old cartoons, the delicious smell morphs into a hand, which beckons, and, inevitably, I drift through the door of the bakery.
Hear the bell jingle?
There they sit right in the window--cupcakes.
I'll take three. And coffee to go.
In my dreams....

YUMMY. See you Friday!
These look so yummy - I love the way you created the wrappers... beautiful. (I hope everyone clicks on the image so that they can see the wonderful details!)
I'm surprised not to see an ostrich popping out of one ;) (Love that too!)

I believe we've been sharing the same dreams.

Ain't we got fun? I'm so glad you'll be here. Even if you'll be preoccupied, it will be fun to have you and your energy here for a while.
Hi, Karen~ Thanks so much!
Thanks, Kristin. I always forget to remind people that they can enlarge.
Heh! There are more ostriches coming....

Hi, Martinealison, I'm glad you like it. Thanks so much for your visits to my blog!
Hey, Cathyann: Yeah, I think my dad's death knocked me more for a loop that I knew. I needed some time huddled in my cave. I missed all of my blogger friends, for sure!
this is my weakness....pastry. ah, pastry. Love the backwards word too. You are soooo clever!
Hi, Celeste: Sweets are my downfall. In fact, I have to eat all of them or none--there is no in between. A piece of chocolate--hah! I admire people who can do that!
Thanks for stopping by.
