Number 3, WIP

 3rd in Triptych (working title), acrylic/printmaking, 6 x 18
Elizabeth W. Seaver
Sold

To continue the theme of warmer weather climes in the face of winter's onslaught, here is the third in my series of small beach umbrella paintings.  I also bought some 18 x 36 inch canvases which will be their own series of umbrellas on a larger scale.

Short post today.  The day got away from me, and it's time to eat and go to a meeting.

Thanks for landing for a moment from the blogosphere to make a comment.

Hi, Rhonda. Thanks, that's what I hope will happen when someone sees my work, smile or giggle.

I'm trying to think of a more sophisticated word than 'cute'.... but I think you know what I mean... chuckled like everyone else.

Such swirly goodness! Love the umbrellas, but all of your work has such a fun and beautiful appeal. Will be back for more.

Wow, you certainly do have a grasp of colour. Your swirls are very interesting (meaning good)- almost like an iconography. These long umbrella paintings are beautiful and dynamic. thanks for sharing

Wow, Andrew. I really appreciate your comments about color. I have been really limiting my palette, and love the colors I'm working with.

Thanks for joining my blog!
