WIP, Pink on the Beach

No, not a reference to a rock star (So what?!!), nor to the shade I turn after 10 minutes in the sun.....

Work in progress, 36 x 18, acrylic on canvas
by Elizabeth W. Seaver

It's a flirty little thing, furled, having done the job of shading those who sat under it all day long.  The umbrella may have completed its job, but I haven't finished mine.  All that remains is for me to add the finishing touches.

Thanks for looking.  And welcome to my newest followers!

I would love to see these in real life, they would be amazing. Your colors and whimsy are great. I always love your patterns and designs.

"flirty" seems a very accurate adjective for this charming painting.

Hi, Maggie. Thanks for the compliment. I do love pink and green (and blue and orange and purple and yellow--and, let's be honest, pretty much any bright color!)
