Duet

Duet, collage/acrylic, 18 x 24 gallery wrap canvas
By Elizabeth W. Seaver

I always forget to tell you to click on the image to see it a little larger.  It does give more idea of the way it was created and how the paint and collage work together.  Please do that with Duet.

Especially, I got feedback that the painting in my last post looks so different in person that I encourage folks to click on the photo in this post to see the detail of the collage.  It is more interesting than it looks from "far away!"

It is likely that I will not log any posts for a couple of weeks because I will be away visiting my folks in Texas.  I will miss you all, my blogging friends!  See you towards the end of March.

Just adorable! Love those galoshes and striped legs. Yours are ones I ALWAYS open to the larger version because I know there is something interesting going on at the small level. Love the title and the way it ties in with the areas of music paper and that sweet little turtle. I like the way you have music notes on the birds beak too.

Have a great trip. We'll miss you!

Is it really legal to have this much fun? You gotta' love this duet. I think those galoshes must be his dancing shoes with all that music playing in the background.

Have a safe and fun trip...
