Not a whole lot of painting going on!
But here's what I've been doing--hanging our Patron Show at LibertyTown. We are offering patrons a chance to buy a ticket for $100 and go home with a painting. Our whole show this month is the donated work of 50 local and regional artists. It was a fun show to hang, and the work is wonderful. I wanted to share a few pix.
Artists have donated pottery, fiber work, wood work, photos, paintings and jewelry. There is something for everyone!
I have done lots of new work, and here is the wall on which it hangs in my studio. The color is not wonderful here--my walls are a little less like cheese whiz than this looks! Or actually, maybe it's pretty accurate....
I'll have more new stuff next week!

Looks like a great collection, Elizabeth!
Great looking show Elizabeth.
Fantastic idea for the artists and patrons involved.
I don't know what "cheese whiz" is, but I like your walls and whats on them too!
Can't wait until tomorrow to join in on the fun!
Your patron show sounds like my kind of entertainment, wish we could all attend! Love seeing your wall of art. Hey, nothing wrong with cheese whiz.
This show has all the makings for a big success!! Can't wait to get down there to check it out and to buy a few raffle tickets!!
Hugs!
Elizabeth
Wow! You've done an awesome job! What a great show this is.
what a wonderful project - my walls are the color of cheese whiz I think! your work looks wonderful...
What fun. Looks wonderful. Hope it is a great success.
Enjoyed seeing your 'cheese whiz' wall too! Looks warm and inviting with your work displayed there.
Sounds like a great idea for a show. Certainly a diffeent take on an art show. Hope it fares out well.
I have tried the different approach in our gallery by offering my pardners dog[well O K the gallery dog]for sale and we will throw in a painting. His wife is fast to set a would be buyer straight on that.
Great work. really colorful and full of life.
Elizabeth...What a great, CLEAN looking studio...you are awesome! I admire you like crazy...starting all you have...I'd give my eye teeth to do it up in the mountains where I am...Maybe I just will one day! Hey...I put up one more eye candy today...:)
Thanks everybody! Your encouragement is much appreciated.
We had a great opening and sold all but 10 tickets so far! I even sold a painting from that cheese whiz wall--hip hip hooray!
Gary--I'll beware the high cost of paintings in your gallery, right? Does the pup come with its own leash, at least?
Saundra, you are seeing the inviting side of my studio! I should take a photo of my messy side--and I always beat the creeping stacks back with a stick when we are having an opening. I'll definitely check out your eye candy!
How exciting! I think that this $100 idea is great. Congrats on the sales.
I love your wall. I have a wall like that in the kitchen ... all though not cheery yellow.
I can't wait too see those paintings closer up!
Now matter what I end up with on May 29, I will walk away with a fantastic piece of art; everything was lovely and there were some I'm really excited about--great job and great turnout! Brilliant idea!
